Tang Yuan, Tang Yuan, Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan


I only knew Xmas was approaching, but one evening Dad came home with some colored dough & declared it was "Dong Zhi" tmr and wanted me to "so" Tang Yuan..And for the first time, we made Tang Yuan, the old fashioned way..

It was good fun as i haven done it since i was a kid, watching my Granny roll the dough into small balls!! So Alan & I happily hovered over at the island top & starting "So0-ing" away! Wee!



Why isit always pink & white huh? No other colors meh?

Dad says we eat Tang Yuan to celebrate Dong Zhi, after that we will be urshered into a new year and one year older!!
