My National Day

Happy Birthday Singapore!!! I love this small sunny island and I can't imagine living anywhere else..here's why:

(1) Safe and Secure Country:
Lower crime rates compared to nations where you can't even take a stroll at night without being robbed or attacked. Berserk students who shoot their teachers and friends in school (nevermind if you are only 8 and duno how to use a gun). I truly think that this is the best place to be without fearing for your lives constantly.

(2) My family and friends live here:
Basically everyone I love so dearly are here and its so convenient to meet up, given Singapore is just a small dot on the world map.

(3) Clean green city:
Most of us took all these for granted:
Clean water, not-outrageously poluted air, well built roads, lovely greenery along the roads and fantastic HDB houses..I thank God that I was born here when I saw how bad the 3rd world countries are like. Lucky me..

(4) Food Paradise:
Laksa, chicken rice, satay, rojak, prata, tim sum, curry..That is why I am FAT!

(5) Red and White flag with stars and moon!
Simply lovely!

(6) Big hearted people
Yes, i choose to believe there are many big hearted people around here.

(7) No natural disasters
Thank God for no earthquakes (mayb a teeny weeny one months back), no volcanos that decides to erupt for nothing, no tornados, no floods or the scary tsunami.

Of coz there are ugly sides that disgusts me:

(1) Kiasuism:
Suckers who love to queue up even though they don't know what its about. Pushing and jostling just to get something FREE. Buffet tables where Singaporeans proudly show their Kiasuism..tsk tsk

(2) Non-Gracious people
Those who pretend not to see old ladies on the bus so they don't have to give up their seats should be ashamed of themselves.

Crazy fools behind the wheel who think the road is named after their fathers.

Some people just don't care about others! Frustrating!!!

(3) People who look down on others:
Just because you are rich doesn't give you the right to belittle people. I think God is fair, you may be rich but you ARE UGLY AT HEART and a total IDIOT for thinking that money is everything..years of education has just gone down the drain.

Above are some points i can think of so far..but overall, I LOVE SINGAPORE!!




Finally 4 days straight of not having to work and yet my giggling girlfriends abandoned me and left for Thailand..Drats, sendig them off at the airport earlier made me wish I had a seat in that plane..wonder if they are missing me while shopping and having that heavenly masssage..I WISH I WAS THERE!




Dinner at Changi hawker with my Sis' family was just great! Cheap and yummy seafood followed by goreng pisang & sweet dessert..just my way of spending time with my loved ones.






Since everyone will be sweating at the National Day Parade, I decide to practice my roller blading skills with my lovely Gareth. Ending up within 10 mins I was crashing downslope, bruising my bum and knee and shaking from the whole shocking fall..guess I need 2 years more...drats..

Thats all about my National Day folks..DON"T COMPLAIN I NEVER UPATE MY BLOG HOR!!
