My Latest Hobby

Recently Brenda and Lynn brought me to a scrapbooking class at Laine's Paperie at Wheelock and i had so much fun! Its been a while since i enjoyed a class like this and i think i'm really hooked on it...

My 1st official canvas scrapbook!
I think i spent more than 7 hours on it..im pretty happy about the way it turned out!


Although its a pretty expensive hobby, i really enjoyed using my own hands to create a pretty canvas for keepsakes..But it has a huge impact on my pockets coz i had an irresitible urge to buy everything coz EVERYTHING is sooo nice..ask Brenda, she can vouch for me..anyways some of the stuff i bought to fuel my creativity..

Acid Free Papers are necessity, ranges from 1.70 above..nicer ones can cost 5.90 per pc!

For my cousin Don's bdae, i did one for him coz i cant think of a better pressie than a personliased gift to him & his bride..this one took 4 hours to finish..sure hope he likes it!


Anyways, side tracking on the project i'm on to make a flower ball for the wedding..Here's my finished product:


Every week I still keep buying the stuff for all the DIY stuff flowers, papers etc..seems that suddenly i became a DIY girl in a month..weird but gives me undescribable satisfaction and joy from my routine work life..
