Phuket Trip 21 Jan - 24 jan 08

After Vegas, the ASEAN team is going for our kickoff at Sunny Phuket! It was pretty exciting as this is the 1st time that Stephanie & I travelled together & we are sharing a room!

On the flight to Phuket, Steph was pretty happy & excited, while i was thankful it was a short flight compared to the Vegas trip..



A warm welcome with flowers & refreshment when we arrived at JW Marriot, a really cool resort..

As we arrived earlier than the usual checkout time, we had time to goof around and check out the place. The resort gave us a meeting room to rest our feets while waiting for the rooms to be ready.

We had time for a beach massage @ 400 baht


The first night, we had a lawn party which was like the pretty outdoor wedding i always wanted..except that it was hot & stuffy plus the mosquitoes were in for the party as well! Guess my hopes for a outdoor wedding is dashed..

After the conference was over, it was R & R time!

I went to the beach to braid 4 strands hair for 30Baht per braid, doesn't it look cool! YoYo!



The Spa was so nice & i spent 4000 Baht only to get oil rubbed on me..heartpain

On the last day, we had to checkout at noon and had some time before our flight. So Steph & I went swimming again & went to the Health Club for FREE Jacuzzi & Sauna services!


By the time we left for Singapore, we were smelling so nice & clean!


Overall it was a really relaxing treat and i wonder how much weight i have put on this time..Drats, well, at least we had fun, didn't we Steph?

We look forward to our next trip together!


Now its time to get ready to celebrate Chinese New Year!
