Regina Bdae Celebration Part 6: BinTan Stay

All our bags are packed and we were ready to go! We reached the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at 10am, while waiting to board:

Hope I dun get seasick, its only 1 hour ride, i think i can take it! My dearie got me ginseng slices to put the seasickness at bay, true enough, i wasn't feeling queasy at all!

Once we got to the Bintan Lagoon Resort, we were greeted by dancers and drummers, feel like a respected guest!

Here's what the resort looked like:

Then a few hours later, our hunger brought us to the lunch buffet at the resort itself..

Just look at his shocked face when he saw flies hovering at the buffet table..yucks!

It wasn't long before we realised we have chosen the wrong resort as there was absolutely nothing interesting to do in Bintan..But we could only make do (we were glad it was a one night stay), so we did a quick tour around:

The Resort Convenience Store

Game of Snake & Ladder

We wanted to swim but it was raining, we tried to go to the spa but it looked lousy and outrgaeously expensive, the food sucks at the buffet...So we decided to relax by the TV and come out only for dinner..

Junk Food

While we watched TV & slept, tremors were reported in Indonesia as there was a scale 7 earthquake, but we felt nothing at all!! But Stephanie & Se Chia texted me to find out if we were safe..really touched by their kind thoughts! I feel so fortunate, sorry to make you guys worry!Muacks!

Dinner at the French/Italian Restaurant was much much nicer and cheaper than the buffet, we enjoyed the evening there:

Bolagnise Pasta for my Dear

Huge Curry Puff? Yummy TOO!

Next Morning, we had our free breakfast enthusiastically, after that we can leave for home!Yay!

We were simply glad that it was time to go home!

Verdict: Try Phuket or Koh Samui next time..or maybe i prefer shopping trips my dear!!HAHA, but thanks baby, so sweet of you!
