Welcome to my Lalaland!

Sorry to keep all of you waiting but I wanted my first post to be different.. so after some thought, I present my very first post in my 27 years! =) A little long but absolutely necessary..

Let me first explain why I call my blog Trixllini's Lalaland..

"Trixillini" is my fairy name (yes I AM a Fairy!!No Joke!!)

"Lalaland" as i love to call it, is the place I seek solace in and indulge in day dreaming (my favourite past-time). A space where the reality of life evades me, all responsibilities are lifted off my shoulders and I can be just me, the simple, down-to-earth Regina.

Everything is possible in this world, sometimes I'm a loser, sometimes I'm a fairy and most of the time I am a BEAUTY (hey, writting a blog seemed to give me new found confidence! Woohoo! No pukes or boos please).

Anyway, in short, Lalaland is a space of my own where I come to terms with my inner feelings, thoughts, struggles, opinions etc and everything else seems insignificant and far far away.. Well, you get the drift.. I'm sure you too have a space or land of your own.. but here I will like to invite to to peek into mine.

First I will like to introduce the characters that live in Lalaland.. permanent residents who happens to be those that made a difference in my life & I wouldn't have survived to this day without them.. of coz there are others I will intro along the way..

First Up is "The Boyfriend"

Let's call him My Ga.



He is the official cook, maid, chauffeur, partner and resident of my place. He is a real sweet & responsible guy who takes great care of me till i seem to have lost the use of my limbs..

Personality:
Nice, Caring, Friendly, Lomantic, Easy Going & Silly. He must have known I'm a Fairy coz he gives me royal treatment & attention. Hehe..

How he gained membership into my Lalaland:
This god-sent man is a prayer came true.. I remember praying hard for at least 2 years to find a man like him, who cooks, treats me like a princess and shares the same values as I do. So one day he just appeared when i least expected (although not in white horse but he still makes up in other ways).

Moving ahead:
If I get lucky, my kids will probably call him Dad! But we'll see about the progress.. He is still saving up to propose with a 5k solitaire diamond ring I've been eyeing... who knows by then I will fancy another ring perhaps? Well, expect to see him appearing in this blog often, unless there are votes to replace him? OR if I put on another KG!! Arghhh..


Next up: "The Big Sista - Ah Mi"



She is the superwoman in my family, the scholar, the agressive & strong girl with 2 beautiful kids, Faith & Keiran. The person that helped me survive all the scary situations (e.g ordering Mcdonald's when i was a scaredy kid) Otherwise known as Mdm Yeo.

Personality:
Strong, helps the weak (most often me, her pesky little sis), clever, great heart and a super achiever.

How she gained membership into my Lalaland:
By being my mother, sister, advisor and life saver..

Moving ahead:
Expect pics of her kids instead since she is always camera shy, only manage to get a pic with her hand over her face (I stole her photos from her blog.. keke).. and also will post the two angels & Mr Ang here frequently.


In Third Place "Lynnie - PB aka Pantone"



She is one of my giggling GFs, shared my ups and downs and keeps me from jumping down the building at work & dragging my head out of the toilet bowl in my weak attempt to drown myself.

Personality:
Kinder-Bueno! Always packed with weird and hilarious but good ideas. Strong opinionated, innovator, loves beautiful stuff & passion for small animals. Colourful person that rubs her enthusiasm onto all around her.

How she gained membership into my Lalaland:
By being different and my absolute bestest friend. Remind me of my weaknesses and encourages me whenever i hit rock bottom. Also being my "swan sister".

Moving ahead:
She might de-friend me if I put on more weight so we'll see how it goes.. but if everything goes well, she is the regular face in here.


Tie at third place: "Jaroline - MB aka Monotone"



Another infamous giggling Gf who giggles at 3 paces slow sometimes, she inspires me in different ways..

Personality:
Always asking "whys", slow to heat up, reliable & trusty pal with super strong endurance limits.The quiet but "kungfu" very good (but you can't tell kind).

How she gained membership into my Lalaland:
Life-time membership entitlement when she became my giggling GF & "swan sis". Also for being the wonderful friend she is..

Moving ahead:
Depend on how we influence her to be more "reactive", expect to see her all over my post as we are the 3 sparkling sistas!


Fourth spot is "The Mentor - YSC aka Beibei"



My personal mentor who helped me a long way through this hard journey.. encouraging me & spurring me on

Personality:
Intelligent non-flamboyant type..Give him a few more years he will be like the revered wise man up the hill. Level Nine power.

How he gained membership into my Lalaland:Giving me unfailing support & advice about life & work. Helped me overcome my weaknesses and threw me a buoy when i was drowning at work. Always confusing me with his chim ideas and helped me out of my trapped & down moments.

Moving ahead:
Will see a fair bit of him since he recently turned from Ex-boss to new peer.


Lastly Me in my human form.



I must say.. THIS IS SO DAMN TOUGH! I took so long to get this ready, so please be nice when you read it.. I promise I will get better.. HAHA finally I am done.. thank god.. This is perhaps the reason im getting eyebags and under eye rings.. Tsk. Tsk. ZZzzzz.
